Laos is a landlocked country slightly larger then Utah.
It is located in Southeastern Asia. It is northeast
of Thailand , and west of Vietnam.
Laos is a Communist state.
Laos' country logo is the
Pha That Luang.
Pha That Luang is a buddhist temple in Vienianne,Laos. It was built in the 16th century.
Pha That Luang was destroyed by the Thai invasion in the 19th century. The architecture of the temple includes many references to Lao culture and identity,
and so has become a symbol of Lao nationalism.
